A vegan hallaca is made out of cornmeal dough stuffed with a stew mixed vegetables and beans alongside other ingredients such as raisins, capers and olives. You will not find potatoes, eggs, nut or chickpeas but a the traditional flavours of Caracas.

You can identify our vegan hallacas because of the rustic brown string they are tied with.

Vegan Hallaca Cooking Instructions

Our vegan hallacas are shipped frozen. Once you receive your vegan hallacas you should place them immediately in the freezer.

Add to boiling water directly from the freezer for 35 to 40 minutes, turning them every so often during cooking. Remove and drain, let stand upright to drain excess water for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove the banana leaf, serve immediately. Merry Christmas!

🇻🇪 Instrucciones para cocinar hallacas veganas:

Se envían congeladas, por favor meter en el congelador al recibirlas. Nuestras hallacas veganas se identifican por el pabilo rústico (marrón).

Al recibirlas debes colocarlas inmediatamente al congelador.

El día de servir, colocar en agua hirviendo directamente del congelador por 35 / 40 minutos.  Retirar, dejar reposar en posición vertical para drenar el exceso de agua de 2 a 3 minutos.  Servir inmediatamente y Feliz Navidad!
